My husband was very pleased with these. It took a little practice to get it right, but everything has held up really well.
I was looking for something that would solder silverware without the heat discoloring it and this is the stuff. Melts at super low temp and flows nicely on almost any metal from aluminum cans to thicker knife handles.
Just make sure you heat the material and product over 720 degrees Fahrenheit for it to melt and adhere properly. Use propane or MapGas torch.
Long story short, I've always wanted to get into welding since high school; as a beginner I'm learning the "how to" method step by step. These aluminum rods are great for starters.
